Safe + Sound Week is just around the corner! Have you started planning?
Each year, OSHA is proud to host Safe + Sound Week, a nationwide event that recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe. This year, Safe + Sound Week will be held August 12-18, 2019. You can participate by registering online here: https://www.osha.gov/safeandsoundweek/
Implementing a workplace safety and health program can take serious dedication and time to create, implement, and refine. Reviewing injury logs, seeking worker involvement, and adopting meaningful policies to improve conditions is no easy task. But, it is about more than just our bottom line. Keeping workers safe and sound is good for our families and our communities.
With Safe + Sound Week just around the corner, OSHA is getting excited to hear from you on why workplace health and safety is important – and what you have been doing to recognize your successes throughout the year.
